Status J is enjoying a long holiday weekend. About Me People say I'm: stressed out. On Gather, I'm Looking For ...: an outlet and place to display my creative side. Interests Lately I've been listening to: The New Pornographers I'm currently reading: The Road by Cormac MacCarthy The last movie I watched was: Downfall My must-see show is: The News Hour with Jim Lehrer I'd love to visit: I would love to travel the world. I know...cliche. I'm curious about: How people want to live their lives away from work. Topping my Wish List is: The time to do just that. Favorite Music, Artists, Genres: I know it's cliche to say how much one likes all types of music, but I do honestly love all types of music. If I had to choose, any folk-based music would be up my alley. Favorite Books, Writers, Genres: It's been said that I have a book problem. I'll leave it at that. Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres: Movies from the 1910's and 20's are some of my favorites, especially the old German horror films like Nosferatu or Vampyr. I think it's the atmosphere. I also like film noir (pattern developing) Favorite TV Shows, Actors: I'm a NPR/PBS supporter and enthusiast. Most everything else out there in television land is worthless. I will admit, I have got sucked in by "Lost" Favorite Places: Home Interests and Activities: Art, music, photography, film, literature, writing, gardening, food, cooking, libations and the good life in general.
